ENVIRONMENT ART

JUNGLE SERIES

This is an original environment series I created within the Unreal Engine world. Th scenes depict various mysterious objects and figures founded in a different jungle location.

A series of environment pieces I created using Unreal Engine and Edited in Davinci Resolve. In this series I explore the use of foliage, photogrammetry, Lumen Lighting, Nanite Meshes, Physics, etc to create realistic environment pieces. Each one was made in unreal 5.3 and optimized to render fairly quickly in the movie render queue. Davinci Resolve was used to color correct, relight, and implement the ACES color conversion.

COMMUTE ENVIRONMENT

This is an original environment I created using Maya, Houdini, XSens, Substance, Redshift. The scene depicts a dystopian environment with robots integrated in society. This environment was made for a VFX Short that I worked on called “Commute” you can watch the full short in the VFX section from the home tab

THE ATTIC

This is an original environment scene created within the Unreal Engine world. This scene depicts a somewhat creepy yet melancholic attic filled with various old props and assets all over the place which posses an Arabic tone to them. Rats and spiders can be seen moving around with dust particles floating all over the room. The main feature of the room is the sewing machine which is still operating, adding to the creepiness of the environment.

ATTIC ENVIRONMENT

While this attic was created within the Unreal Engine environment, all the Assets were made with the combination of Maya, Blender, and ZBrush. Textures and materials for all assets were created using Substance Painter. Animations were made using Maya and the spawning system and particle effects were created using Unreal Engine’s Blueprints and the Niagara Particle Effects system.

This scene is currently my proudest achievement as it depicts my flexibility with 3D-art and asset creation as well as my skillset with lighting, texturing, composition, etc.

MOSQUE CITY

Mosque City is a fun miniature city I created using Blender. I wanted to experiment with creating an awesome city using simple techniques and focusing more on composition and organization rather than complex techniques. The creation of this piece was inspired by @Mari on twitter, who is a voxel artist.

A city created using Blender and Cycles render. All buildings made using various Boolean Techniques and concrete material created using Blender’s Shader editor.

DESERT TEMPLE

Epic Scale!! Desert Temple is an environmental art piece where I wanted to experiment with how to depict huge scale in a composition. This piece depicts a temple land in a desert environment with some commoners visiting the temple.

This project was created using Blender, Maya, and ZBrush for the assets and people. The final piece was rendered using Cycles, and everything in the scene is original.

SMALL TOWN

A miniature small town I made with houses organized in a simple manner using a cartoon-y style. This was one of the first projects I made training with my 3D-modelling skills.

This project was made fully with Maya and rendered using Arnold. All assets are original.

SURREAL WORLD

Surreal World, a digital art piece I created in Blender. Every model was made using a photogrammetry of items found around my room, with the human on the mannequin being myself!!

This project was made with photogrammetry techniques using MeshRoom and PolyCam application, and was rendered in Cycles.
